Jana Gana Mana, the National Anthem written by Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore, was first sung during the Calcutta a session of Indian National Congress on Dec 27, 1911. Commemorating 100 years of the event, Vincent Pratap Kumar, Founder President, ACME in association with SV Placements Pvt Ltd, Visakhapatnam organised a mass recital of the National Anthem at Alwardas Sports Stadium, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh on Dec 27, 2011, in which 6,508 students from 23 schools and colleges sung it 16 times, making it a total of 1,04,128 times!
