Reliance Drishti, a registered Braille fortnightly in Hindi was launched in Mumbai on March 19, 2012. An initiative of Reliance Foundation, the newspaper strives to promote access to information for the visually challenged on a wide range of topics like current affairs, politics, social issues, business, science, technology, arts, culture, health and so on. Reliance Drishti is edited by Swagat Thorat who had founded Sparshgandh, an annual Braille magazine in Marathi in 1998, which became Sparshdnyan, the first fortnightly in Braille on Feb 15, 2008.
