Artist Shriniwas Agawane got together 750 school students to make human chain in the shape of a sparrow at Raja Shiwaji Vidyalaya, Dharawi-Sion, Mumbai on March 20, 2013. The 600 x 450 ft sparrow formation took three hours from 11.00 am to 2.00 pm. While the concept was by Chitrapatang Art Workshop it was organised by Sparrow Shelter, an NGO founded by Pramod Mane.
