Baljit Singh Chadha of Delhi painted 12,000 flowers, all in the same size 11’x13′, using mixed media of abstract, imaginative flowers which were exhibited as a solo show inaugurated by the honorable counselor of Japan, Noda Ryoji at 12.00 noon at Zorba, MG Road, Delhi on Dec 12, 2012. The paintings were exhibited side-by-side, and back-to-back, over 300 m. Titled Wall of Divine Flowers, the proceeds from the sale of the paintings were committed to the NGO Smile Foundation which works on children’s education, primary healthcare, women empowerment.
